Sri Lanka’s Matheesha Pathirana is steadily improving his game. On the other end, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has crossed the ten-wicket mark. Maheesh Theekshana, too, is expected to come good.
Punjab Kings
Shikhar Dhawan is the key player in the PBKS lineup. The left-handed batsman’s presence significantly boosts the confidence of young and uncapped PBKS players. Liam Livingstone, who hasn’t taken off this season, is a player to watch. In Sam Curran, Jitesh Sharma, and Shahrukh Khan, they have three players who could turn the game on its head.
Arshdeep Singh proved why the left-arm pacer is PBKS’ leading bowler. He took four wickets and helped PBKS beat MI at Wankhede. With plenty of chopping and changing, Arshdeep had plenty of partners this season. The spinners have had a poor season so far, especially Rahul Chahar, who has taken only two wickets.
