RR vs LSG is going to be a cracker of a match. Both teams reached the playoffs last season and have begun the IPL 2023 campaign well. Rajasthan Royals

The Royals will be hoping to grab a fourth consecutive win when they face LSG. In their last game, the inaugural champions clinched a thrilling victory over Gujarat Titans. Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer made significant contributions. Also, Dhruv Jurel and Ravichandran Ashwin played decisive roles. 

Trent Boult is the leading pacer in the Royals bowling unit. The New Zealand pacer took a wicket in the first over against the Titans. Meanwhile, Sandeep Sharma has been excellent with the ball. He gave away 25 runs and took two wickets in four against the defending champions. With 11 wickets, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is the joint-leading wicket-taker this season. 

 Lucknow Super Giants

LSG will be keen to bounce back after a surprise defeat at the hands of Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Saturday. The batters, apart from KL Rahul, failed to spark in Lucknow. The franchise think-tank might bring Quinton de Kock into the playing 11. The South African, who top-scored for LSG with a 39 against RR last season, is yet to play a match this season. It would be interesting to see which overseas batter would make way for De Kock.  

Mark Wood and Ravi Bishnoi have been LSG’s top bowlers this season. The Englishman has taken 11 wickets, while the young spinner has eight. Both bowlers and pacer Yudhvir Singh picked up two wickets each against PBKS. Much is expected of Avesh Khan, who has only three wickets at an economy of 10.35 in four matches this season.
