In 2022, he scored 314 runs at an impressive average of 44, while in 2023, he accounted for 300 runs. The Caribbean batter, an excellent fielder also, will have to be consistent as a finisher.
Adam Zampa:
Adam Zampa made his IPL debut in 2016 for Rising Pune Supergiant and took 12 wickets. But his IPL career never quite took off. He never got a full run again and found himself at RR, which had paid him ₹1.5 crore in 2023. He picked up eight wickets and was retained for 2024. He is expected to form a spin trio alongside Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin. Although, there is a high chance that the trio will play together only in a few games.
Rovman Powell:

The West Indies T20I captain’s biggest strength is his ability to accelerate anytime. He had a decent 2022, where he scored 250 runs, but in 2023, he played only three matches for DC.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore:
Hailing from Somerset, Tom Kohler-Cadmore was a steal for RR, who bought him for ₹40 lakhs. The 29-year-old is a veteran in T20 cricket and slammed 127 runs in just 54 balls in 2016 at just 21. He also has slammed 96 off 39 balls in the Abu Dhabi T10 2021 season. The Englishman is expected to get some playing time this season.
Nandre Burger:
Nandre Burger was a relatively unknown commodity in cricket, but he turned lucky as he made his white-ball debut against India on December 19. In the second ODI, the left-arm pacer picked up three wickets. That same night, an IPL auction was taking place. Unsurprisingly, his name came up, and his fresh exploits forced franchises to bid for him. The 28-year-old, who can extract swing and seam, was RR signed for ₹50 lakhs.
Donovan Ferreira:
Another South African import, Donovan Ferreira, was picked up for ₹50 lakhs in IPL 2023, thanks to his all-round abilities. Despite showing promise, he didn’t get a chance to make his IPL debut. He had a decent SA20 2024 season and will be keen to make an impression for the ‘Men in Pink’ this season.
